ABOUT MEMSIGNAL

About MemSignal

Last updated October 15, 2026 · This page is published by MemSignal.

What this site is

MemSignal tracks the memory market — DRAM, NAND and the interfaces built on them — and publishes what we observe, how we observed it, and when. The point is not to be the only site with an opinion about pricing. It is to be the site where you can check the opinion against the record.

What we publish

Market intelligence

Directional trend analysis across the memory category, with the measurement window and cut date shown on every figure.

Part index

Orderable part numbers searchable by brand, category, package, temperature grade and lifecycle status.

Compiled specifications

Specification pages written by our own team from publicly available information. We link to the manufacturer’s document rather than hosting their file.

News and analysis

Coverage of supply chain, technology and policy developments affecting memory sourcing.

What MemSignal is not

We do not hold inventory. Except where stated in a written quotation, stock levels, date codes and availability shown here are supplier-reported claims, not goods we control.
A quote on this site is not a transaction price. It is a time-bound, supplier-reported indication. Trade quotes on this site are not equal to global transaction prices.
We are not affiliated with any manufacturer named here. Brand and part numbers appear to identify the goods being discussed. No authorisation, endorsement or sponsorship should be inferred.
We do not host datasheets. Where official documentation exists, we point at the manufacturer’s own publication.

How a figure gets onto this site

Three things or nothing

Every quantitative statement carries a source, a collection date and a definition of what is being measured. If one is missing, the number is not published.

Observation, then judgement

Reported data and our reading of it sit in separate, visually distinct blocks, so you can take the first without the second.

A person signs off

We use automated tooling and AI assistance to collect, classify and draft. Prices, stock levels, lead times, cross-references and substitution advice are reviewed by a person before publication.

The full rules are on their own pages, because a policy you have to search for inside an About page is not a policy: Editorial Policy and Data Methodology.

Coverage

Categories currently tracked in the part index: DRAM NAND Flash LPDDR eMMC UFS NOR Flash SSD Memory Module

This list describes our own filing system, not the size of our dataset. Counts are withheld until the underlying records carry sources — see the editorial policy above.
