What this part is
TSWA0N032N2-M1T51W is the 32 GB member of TWSC’s NS1300 series: a full-size mSATA solid-state drive on a SATA 6 Gb/s interface (SATA Revision 3.1, backward compatible to 1.5 and 3 Gb/s), built on 3D TLC NAND operated in pSLC mode — that is, TLC flash run as single-level-cell to trade capacity for endurance and latency. TWSC is the storage brand of 深圳市德明利技术股份有限公司 (Shenzhen Techwinsemi Technology Co., Ltd.), a Chinese-listed storage controller and module maker (stock code 001309) founded in 2008 that listed on the Shenzhen main board in 2022; its English and Chinese sites are the same legal entity
The same manufacturer document covers two other capacities in this series — 8 GB · 16 GB — each with its own figures. This page carries only the numbers printed for 32GB.
Capacity and endurance
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Nominal capacity | 32GB |
| Available capacity as printed | 29.8GB |
| Endurance (TBW, JESD218 / JESD219A client workload) | 1000TB |
| MTBF | 3,000,000 hours |
The document defines TBW through its own formula — TBW = (NAND endurance × SSD capacity) / WAF — and states the value is limited to the monitoring scenario. MemSignal’s arithmetic note: across the series the 16 GB and 32 GB figures stand in exact 1:2 proportion (500TB and 1000TB), while the 32GB figure of 1000TB does not follow that line; on the same proportion an 8 GB drive would sit near 250TB. We publish the manufacturer’s number as printed and flag the inconsistency rather than correct it. The same table pairs MTBF 3,000,000 hours with “annual failure ratio is 0.4%”, and those two also do not derive from each other (0.4% over 8,760 hours implies about 2,190,000 hours; 3,000,000 hours implies about 0.29%).
Performance as printed
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Sequential read (max) | 555 MB/s |
| Sequential write (max) | 518 MB/s |
| Random read (max) | 68 IOPS |
| Random write (max) | 53 IOPS |
Two cautions on that table. First, the interface is described as SATA 6 Gb/s with a burst rate up to 600 MB/sec, so the sequential figures are within the bus limit and are not a PCIe-class drive’s numbers. Second, the random columns are labelled IOPS but print 68 and 53 — three orders of magnitude below what a SATA SSD delivers at 4K queues, which reads like a KIOPS column mislabelled. MemSignal does not silently multiply them back into plausibility: if you need a random-IOPS figure for this part, get it from the manufacturer in writing.
Power consumption
| Seq. read | Seq. write | Random read | Random write |
|---|---|---|---|
| 950 | 900 | 950 | 760 |
The document notes the averages assume 100% power-conversion efficiency, that idle was measured after five minutes in non-operating mode, and that consumption may differ by flash configuration and platform. Operating voltage is 3.3 V ±5%.
Environment — read the numbers carefully
The document states a storage range of -40°C to 85°C and an operational range of -55°C to 95°C, with humidity RH 90% at 40°C (operational, non-condensing), shock 1500 g / 0.5 ms half-sine and vibration 20 g over 20–2000 Hz while non-operating. It adds that the temperature specification follows the JEDEC standard and that the expressed temperature must be measured right on the case.
We reproduce those figures as printed, and flag what looks wrong with them: an operating range that is wider on both ends than the storage range is the reverse of how these specifications normally relate, and -55°C sits below the -40°C floor the industry calls extended industrial. Either the two rows are swapped or the operating figures describe a qualified variant. MemSignal therefore files this part without a temperature-grade term in our index rather than attach a grade the document does not support — and we would not treat this table as an industrial qualification on its own.
Physical and interface
- Form factor: mSATA, full size — 50.8 × 29.85 × 4.85 mm (max height).
- Host interface: SATA Revision 3.1, 6 Gb/s; backward compatible to 1.5 and 3 Gb/s.
- Command set features stated: NCQ, TRIM and SMART supported.
- Supply voltage: 3.3 V ±5%.
- Global wear-leveling is stated as the mechanism behind the MTBF figure.
Applications named by the manufacturer
The document’s own introduction positions this class of drive for notebook PCs, video surveillance, tablet PCs and industrial PCs, on the grounds of durability, latency and small-form-factor power draw versus a hard disk drive.
Source and status of this document
The underlying document is the “TWSC NS1300 Series mSATA SSD” datasheet for part numbers TSWA0N008N2-M1T51W / TSWA0N016N2-M1T51W / TSWA0N032N2-M1T51W, 26 pages, revision history a single row: A0, Initial Release, 2025.11. Its opening line is a caveat we would repeat verbatim: “The information and specification provided in this document should be used for comparative analysis and reference purposes,” and the contents are stated to be subject to change without notice.
The manufacturer’s public mSATA product page describes a different family — capacities 128 GB to 4 TB, up to 560/520 MB/s, 0°C to 70°C — and does not list the NS1300 series or any of these three part numbers; its Chinese-language mSATA page returned an empty response when we checked it on 2026-10-08. No manufacturer-hosted copy of this document was found, so MemSignal neither links to it nor hosts it. The copy behind this page reached us through the supply chain.
Not yet recorded
NAND supplier, DRAM presence, temperature grade, lifecycle position and country of origin are not stated by the document and stay empty. Endurance is published as printed with the arithmetic caveats above, not corrected. Cross-referenced alternatives are gated on this page as everywhere else on this site: a substitution row would change what somebody buys, so it needs a source, a date and a named reviewer first.
Cross-references & alternatives
A cross-reference here would change what a customer buys. We publish one only when each row carries a source and a date and has been checked by a named reviewer.

MemSignal does not host, reproduce or distribute datasheets. Where the manufacturer publishes one, we link to it.
Provenance
- Source: TWSC "NS1300 Series mSATA SSD" datasheet Rev A0 (single revision row A0, Initial Release 2025.11), received through the distribution channel (PDF md5 891f163f1052744a30f0acba5f5693d3). The manufacturer's public mSATA page covers 128GB-4TB / 0~70°C and does not list this series or part number as of 2026-10-08; no manufacturer-hosted datasheet was found, so no datasheet link is published. Endurance proportionality and the MTBF/AFR mismatch are MemSignal arithmetic, not manufacturer statements.

Cross-reference and substitution advice appear only where each claim carries a source and a date.
