SK hynix Posts Record Third-Quarter Results as HBM4 Ramps

SK hynix reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of 104.6155 trillion won, operating profit of 83.3338 trillion won and net profit of 39.7756 trillion won under K-IFRS, the company said in a statement on 28 October. Operating margin was 80% and net margin 38%.

Revenue crossed 100 trillion won in a quarter for the first time. Revenue rose 32% and operating profit 38% from the previous quarter, when the company reported 79.3187 trillion won in revenue and 60.5426 trillion won in operating profit. Year on year, revenue rose 328% and operating profit 632%.

By product, the company said HBM4 shipments began in earnest and server DDR5 sales expanded, driving DRAM results, while 321-layer TLC enterprise SSD sales grew in NAND. It expects HBM4 to overtake HBM3E in both shipments and revenue in the fourth quarter, with M15X ramped to maximum capacity by year-end.

The company said it has long-term agreements with 14 major customers, including global cloud providers, covering more than 50% of its 2027 and 2028 production capacity, and that it expects demand to exceed supply through 2030.

The board resolved a third-quarter cash dividend of 14 trillion won and a 20 trillion won share repurchase, with fiscal-2026 shareholder returns of about 100 trillion won. The company also said it halted its review of a Solidigm initial public offering.

The company noted that the results are preliminary and subject to change during the independent auditing process.
